How to Cook a Strip Roast

Ingredients
5 lb. Heinen's CARE Certified boneless strip roast
2 Tbsp. Heinen's extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. celery salt
1 Tbsp. kosher salt
4 Tbsp. Heinen's dried rosemary
1 Tbsp. Heinen's dried thyme
1 Tbsp. Two Brothers Fan Favorite prime rib seasoning
Directions
- In a bowl, combine the pepper, celery salt, kosher salt, dried rosemary, dried thyme, and Two Brothers prime rib seasoning. Set aside.
- Rub the top and sides of the strip roast with the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the roast and rub until it completely coats the tops and sides of the meat.
- Place the strip roast in the oven at 450˚F for 20-25 minutes to allow a brown outer crust to form.
- Reduce the heat to 250˚F and roast for 20 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 125˚F – 135˚F, also known as medium-rare.
- .Once cooked to your liking, remove the strip roast from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
